Spirals have been a part of art and jewelry since prehistory. These pieces are inspired by ancient Sumerian, Greek, and Celtic jewelry pieces with intricate spirals.
These pieces are made with individual links being cut, formed into spirals, hand hammered, and then formed into links to be put together to form the chains. Every piece was lovingly handmade by our artisan jeweler. This set is made of copper which has been oxidized to give it a beautiful patina.
The necklace options are one made up of one with 55 links measuring 22 inches with an additional 4 inches of jump rings for adjustable length, totaling over 30 feet of wire. The second is 64 links measuring 22.5 inches with an additional 2.5 inches of jump rings for adjustable length, totaling over 34 feet of wire.
The bracelet options are one that measures 7.5 inches, made of 19 links totaling over 10 feet of wire. The second measures 6.5 inches with an additional 1 inch of jump rings for adjustment, made of 118 links totaling over 10 feet of wire.
The earrings are 3 links each and are on surgical stainless steel posts with jet beads at the ends. Each earring is made with over 19 inches of hand formed wire!
Each ring is hand forged like the links and is semi adjustable (up to about a whole ring size in either direction). Please include an approximate ring size when ordering. If no size is provided a "meduim" (size 7/8) will be included.
Extra jump rings on either end can be added to make this necklace convertible into a Viking style brooch necklace that can go between 2 brooches. Just ask at checkout for this option!
