These hair pins are handmade by making a coiled coil of wire and then put onto a hand hammered U-shaped hair pin. Pins have been used in hair styling since prehistoric times and are still a popular option today. These are based on a 14th century pin in the Museum of London. These pieces come in brass, but custom orders are available for copper or bronze.
These pieces are perfect as wedding or festival accessories, or a great gift idea for a history enthusiast. Since each pin is handmade there will be slight variations so each piece is as unique as the original.
